Record definition
This record is for:
"World's Longest Zumba® Relay Marathon"
This record can be attempted by a team of unlimited size.
This record is measured in hours, minutes, and seconds, to the nearest 0.01 second.
For the purposes of this record, Zumba® is a dance and fitness program that combines Latin music and other international music with dance and ranges between strength and cardiovascular training.
Rules
"World's Longest Zumba® Relay Marathon"
1.-There is no limit to the number of people who try to register.
2.-Stage participants must be fully qualified and licensed Zumba® instructors.
3.-Proof of the certifications of the Zumba® instructors must be presented.
4.-The confirmation from the Zumba® organization that confirms that the participants of this event are up to date with them must be sent with the receipt of payment. This confirmation must have a maximum date of 5 days before the record attempt. You can come in an email from legal.compliance@zumba.com
5.-Participants must perform Zumba® dance and fitness movements continuously for as long as they can.
6.-Once the instructors leave their participation time, other instructors should immediately begin to perform Zumba® dance and fitness movements.
To be considered a continuous Zumba® dance and fitness marathon, no instructor or participant should take significant breaks during their performance.
7.-The Zumba® relay must be accompanied by live or recorded music that can be from any appropriate source (video, CD, vinyl, etc.). If a DJ is used to mix, present and play the music, he will not be able to accompany the participants for more than four hours at a time, after which he must take a break of at least four hours.
8.- Each participant is allowed to perform choreographed routines or freestyle Zumba® movements, however, if the participant chooses freestyle, they must move their body very clearly and competently, rhythmically to the beat of the music and not just standing in place.
9.-There is no minimum or maximum time during which a participant can act, however, once a person has participated once, they are not allowed to participate officially and it is not counted again later in the attempt, but
he can continue participating unofficially as many times as he wishes.
10.- Guinness World Records reserves the right to disqualify the attempt if the performance of the performance is not considered to be of a high level.
11.- Although the record is for the duration of the marathon, the number of participants who perform during the attempt must also be recorded.
Rules for Longest Records to Be sure to follow ALL of these rules:
1.- The attempt must be made in a public place or in a place open to public inspection.
2.- The record is measured in days, hours, minutes and seconds.
3.- No person under the age of 16 can attempt this record if the activity lasts more than one hour.
4.-A detailed log book must be created that describes the progress of the attempt.
KEEP TIME
1.- Two experienced timekeepers (for example, from a local athletics club) must time the attempt with stopwatches with an accuracy of 0.01 seconds.
If there is any difference between the two times, the average should be recorded as the official time.
2.- For attempts of more than one hour, witnesses must start two "master" timers at the beginning of the event, and witnesses must stop them at the end of the event.
INDEPENDENT WITNESSES
1.- The attempt must have the presence of two independent witnesses at all times.
2.- Two independent witnesses must be present at all times during the attempt.
3.- Witnesses must also rotate in shifts of four hours: any number of witnesses can participate in the rotation.
4.- Witnesses must sign the log book at the beginning and end of each shift confirming the details entered in the log book for the period during which they are on duty.
5.-No one related to any "contestant" can act as a witness.
6.-No one under 18 can act as a witness.
RECORD BOOKS
There should be separate sections in the log books for the following:
1.- Pertinent observations regarding the attempt itself, the changes of witness.
Make sure to provide the following proof:
A.- A cover letter explaining the context of the record attempt:
1.-Indicate the date, time and exact location of the record attempt, the witnesses you chose and the measurement of your record attempt.
2.- Also provide full details of the person (s) / organization attempting the registration, including details on the preparation for the record.
Independent witnesses: attempts of more than 4 hours:
A.- There must be two independent witnesses present at all times, independent witnesses must work in shifts no longer than four hours during the entire attempt.
B.- All witness statements must clearly indicate the hours the witnesses were present and what they observed during their shift.
C.- The last two witnesses of the attempt are responsible for reviewing the previous witness statements to determine the final / total result of the search.
D.- Documentary evidence of permission must be provided for any participant who is between 16 and 18 years old.
E.- Photographic evidence of your attempt taking place by capturing the details provided by the independent witnesses.
F.- Video evidence:
We require that the entire attempt be filmed from start to finish and must be uploaded as evidence in the application in the appropriate field.
* Make sure the camera is focused on the intent at all times and is static.
* Files must have a title.
* Video footage should also have the following important events tagged:
- Footage of the start of the attempt.
- Two minutes of footage every hour.
- The point at which the record is broken.
-The end of the attempt.
An accurate stopwatch must be visible throughout the attempt on video evidence.
A.- Log books: make sure all log books correspond to the video files sent.
B.- You must have separate sections in the log books for the following:
1.- Any pertinent observations about the attempt itself (to be completed by witnesses - see previous section).
2.- Changes of witness, timekeeper and administrator.
3.- Articles from the media (newspapers, online, television or radio) must be submitted as part of the evidence requirements. This is not a mandatory test.
Independent witnesses: attempts of more than 4 hours:
A.- There must be two independent witnesses present at all times, independent witnesses must work in shifts no longer than four hours during the entire attempt.
